An invitation is the first thing your guests hold, and it is the one piece of print where a typo becomes a story people tell. A misspelled name, the wrong date, a venue that moved — so before anything runs, you get a proof, and we read it too.
We print invitations for weddings, quinceañeras, birthdays, baby showers, memorials, company parties, galas and grand openings, and the hospitality-suite invitations that go out around the big conventions. Bring a finished design, a template you made online, or just the wording.
How many to order
Count households, not guests: a couple gets one invitation. Then add about ten percent for the people you forgot, a few keepsakes and the envelope that gets ruined. Reprinting five invitations later costs more than printing them now.
Timing
- Save-the-dates: several months ahead for a wedding, longer for a destination one
- Invitations: mailed six to eight weeks before the event
- RSVP date: three to four weeks before, so the caterer gets a number
- Programs, menus and table cards: last, once the details stop changing
- Order with time for a proof round — most invitations get at least one correction
Paper and finish
Smooth or matte cover is the clean, modern choice and holds fine type and photos well. Uncoated and textured stocks feel more formal and take a pen, which matters for RSVP cards. Rounded corners are an easy upgrade; foil and embossing are separate operations after printing, so they add time and are quoted on their own.
Before you buy stamps
Weigh one complete set — invitation, RSVP card, envelope, anything tucked inside — before you buy postage. Square envelopes, rigid inserts and thick sets can cost more than a standard stamp, and finding that out at the post office is a bad afternoon. Bring a finished set to the counter and we will help you check it.

Invitations — questions we get
Straight answers.
How far ahead should I order invitations?
Allow time for design, a proof round and printing, and plan to mail them six to eight weeks before the event. Save-the-dates go out several months earlier. If your date is close, call the shop and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
Can you print an invitation I designed online?
Yes. Export a print-quality PDF with bleed if the tool offers it, and send it with the quote form. We will check it and tell you if anything will not print well.
Can you match my wedding colors?
Tell us the colors when you order. Screens and printers show color differently, so if an exact shade matters, ask for a printed proof before the full run.
Do you print RSVP cards, programs and table cards too?
Yes — the whole set, so the paper and colors match from the save-the-date to the place cards on the night.
What is the smallest order?
Invitations are short runs by nature, from a couple of dozen up. Send the count and we will quote it.
Need it printed today?
Artwork approved before 10 AM is ready before we close. After that we guarantee tomorrow morning — and we tell you which before you pay.
